Both of my visits have been good. My father isn’t vegan but has visited multiple times and even suggests it. Our second visit was at 7:25pm on a Friday. We were the only customers since they close at 8pm. It’s great to have good vegan food. Just be aware that there are many books, art work, gemstones, sage, and other things related to certain spiritual practices. We go for the vegan food though. Be prorated to spend a lot of money if you get dessert.

Whenever I'm in Norfolk...this is my first stop. Today I went in as usual and I'm the type of shopper that will try to carry everything. The manager saw me...stopped her conversation....got up..got a basket and handed it to me... People don't have compassion and understanding or love like that anymore...but you can find all of that here...needless to say I have no problem paying 100 per trip because they have REAL PRODUCTS !! NOT KNOCKOFFS !!. I cant express all the gratitude I have for this establishment. All I know is IM THERE!! as often as possible. And I dont like giving my money away...but I never mind spending here..( fact )..you should try it !! The gentleman at the register was willing to explain whatever I asked. The spirit of The House of Conciousness is concious. It will wake you out of the blind fog that life teaches and forces upon us ... Love to all!!

I am updating my review since I have been in contact with the beautiful owner, Andrea. I was able to express my concerns and Andrea made me feel validated and appreciated whilst coming up with a resolution to the issue. She has renewed our faith in Jikoni Cafe, and we are grateful to have her in the community because she is a shining example of how we should treat each other in business and life in general. We are grateful for the staff that took care of us as our order today was prepared with care and we enjoyed it immensely! Thank you again, Andrea, for treating us with respect and love!

I ordered the Kuku sandwich for pickup. Customer service was great as were the food and prices! I wasn’t able to stay and hang out but found the atmosphere to be very inviting. Great space to lounge with friends and so many cool items for sale to explore.

This is truly one of Norfolk’s hidden gems. But not for long, I’m telling everybody I know about this fabulous place. This is vegan food at its absolute best. And if you want to see customer service and customer appreciation in action? Just drop by and grab some food. You can thank me later.

Local vegetarian cafe/restaurant. The food is awesome for vegans or vegetarians and their coffee is even better. I got the kuku sandwich. The atmosphere inside is like a coffee shop with literature, minerals and natural body products for sale. The prices are great and the selection is vast. I highly recommend this place for people who want to study and relax. Please stop by and support local businesses.

I enjoyed discovering this gem. The milkshake was sooo good. Its alot in one sitting but worth the calories. I also chose the Beast burrito to see if it lived up to the hype. I was pleased with the size and flavor. I also tried the kids nachos. The nachos could use more cheese but a good snack. I think I loved the concept of this place more. Not just food for the belly but also the mind. I also love that you can purchase bodycare and other products. Looking forward to trying more menu items.
